What happens when you have too much blood?

Having too much blood, specifically an excess of red blood cells, causes the blood to become thick and viscous, restricting proper flow. This often results in blood clots, high blood pressure, dizziness, headaches, fatigue, and itchy skin. If untreated, it can lead to strokes, heart attacks, or organ damage.
